MentalED started as a set of curriculum documents designed to teach middle schoolers mental health concepts from the ground up, taking a biopsychosocial approach to presenting the content. I began devising mentalED when I spoke to a middle school class, who unexpectedly ended up asking me a lot of questions about mental health.

MentalED is now being led by a friend and colleague, Graeme Beaton, who is working with a small team on expanding MentalED's content and scope dramatically. I continue to serve in an advisory role, and marvel at the remarkable progress that Graeme and the team are making.
